Aces By The Bay Hot Rod and Muscle Car Show

Smokin’ Aces held the inaugural “Aces By The Bay” Hot Rod and Muscle Car Show on the 18th of November 2012. The event was held at the Seaworks Maritime Precinct in Williamstown.

Hot Rods, Muscle Cars and even some old school bikes came out of the woodwork to show off some automotive history. Some friends of Win Garage even made the journey out to the show.

The show had so many cars that many could not get into the venue and were left lining the neighboring streets of Williamstown.

Bernie brought out his immaculate XY GT. This is one of the cleanest XY’s in the country. Completely original and amazingly well kept.

A Lamborghini Aventador made a welcome appearance at the show. This is the first time I have ever seen one of these in the flesh. Absolutely menacing in almost any angle.

Tony brought out the his XA GT as well. Another clean and well kept GT. This thing looks amazing from any angle.

It was amazing to see such a variety of cars from all eras parked along side each other.IMG_2392-1IMG_2357-1IMG_2358-1IMG_2359-1IMG_2360-1

There was something about this completely custom chopper which drew crowds all day. The level of customization and attention to detail is absolutely amazing.IMG_2370-1IMG_2362-1IMG_2366

Just when you thought size didn’t matter… This Mustang was absolutely insane. The owner struggled to keep the thing sitting still on idle. Even had two bottles of giggle gas sitting on the rear parcel shelf. I don’t think the word ‘Blown’ does this any justice.IMG_2409-1

A very clean 57 Belair… One of the first muscle cars I ever went in…

IMG_2432-1IMG_2433-1There were even more cars inside the old Maritime museum. Like this 55 Chev sporting an LS1 conversion.IMG_2430-1IMG_2431-1Or this Impala…IMG_2435-1

This Mach 1 Mustang was immaculate. Everything from the Interior through to the engine bay was pristine.
